The workspace
The workspace is your HQ in DokKraft: a standalone container holding your folders, documents, registries, templates, members and its plan. Each workspace has its own plan, quotas and API keys — two workspaces share nothing.
Sections
The sidebar groups navigation into four groups — every entry is a real page:
| Group | Entries |
|---|---|
| Documents | Workspace — the Drive: folders, documents, generation · History — the workspace's generations (see below) · Automations — recurring generation and delivery rules, on their own page |
| Library | Registries — your registries: customers, products… · Templates — the library: gallery, previews, sharing |
| Developers | API Playground — the sandbox: try the API without coding |
| Account | Subscription — plan, quotas, billing: see the subscription · Settings — emitter, API keys and tunables |
At the bottom of the sidebar, the Editor Studio banner opens the template workshop. This documentation, on the other hand, opens from the user menu (Documentation entry), in a new tab.
The generation history
The History page lists every generation in the workspace, sorted by creation date — not by modification, the whole difference with the Drive's "Recently modified" view. Each row carries the document (name, number, version, amount), its status, its template, its author and its folder.
Search covers name and number; filters narrow by status, template and period (7, 30 or 90 days). The list is paginated, 25 generations per page.
Getting started: the 3-step onboarding
An empty workspace shows three cards in the Drive:
- Emitter profile — logo, tax ID, legal mentions: exposed to every template through
COMPANY.*(settings). - First template — build it in the studio, generate it with AI, or start from a Template Hub model.
- First folder — e.g. "QUOTES BTP": link the template and pre-fill your variables (folders).
Multiple workspaces: the switcher
The selector at the top of the sidebar lists your workspaces (personal + shared), with your role on each. From this menu: create a workspace, open members, invite (#invite opens the modal directly), leave or rename.
Find anything: global search
Ctrl+K (or ⌘K) opens the palette: documents, folders, templates, records — with the doc: (documents only) and client: (customer records only) prefixes. Documentation shortcuts are suggested there too. Inside the Drive, the search bar filters the current view.
