The AI assistant#

The AI assistant drafts a first template from a plain-language description: "an invoice with a company header, a line-items table and a gross total".

Using the assistant#

From the studio, open the AI panel (wand icon), describe the document you want and run the generation: elements are laid out on the page, ready to be adjusted.

Best practices#

• Describe the structure (header, table, totals, footer) more than the exact styling.
• Mention the expected variables (customer number, due date…). The generator also knows the document's reserved variables: it places {{DOCUMENT.num}} where the number belongs, and {{DOCUMENT.version}} if you ask for a versioned document.
• Always review the result: the AI proposes, you decide.
